Sing Along with DLS
The songs in this booklet have been put together by two Speech and Language Therapists working with children. They are intended to be used alongside the Derbyshire Language Scheme, or as a way of leading into it. The comprehension requests included in the songs are at Two and Three Word Level. Music is an extremely powerful way of obtaining the attention of most children. It lend itself particularly to those who are extremely passive or have very limited interest in social contact. In any event it provided a relaxed, informal addition to a therapy session.
